Meet Kerilyn
Kerilyn Hardman, MS, CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to helping children and adults improve their breathing, oral function, and overall quality of life through myofunctional therapy.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from West Virginia University in 2018, followed by her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from West Virginia University in 2020. Kerilyn began her career serving students in the public school system, where she developed a strong foundation in pediatric speech and language disorders.
In 2026, Kerilyn made the decision to transition into private practice, joining Family First Myology to pursue her growing passion for myofunctional therapy and airway-focused care. Through extensive continuing education and specialized training, she has developed expertise in evaluating and treating oral myofunctional disorders. Her professional journey is also deeply personal. After experiencing her own myofunctional therapy journey while seeking relief from temporomandibular disorder (TMD) symptoms, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that restoring proper oral function can have on overall health and well-being.
Kerilyn is passionate about empowering patients and families with education and individualized treatment plans that address the root causes of dysfunction—not just the symptoms. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-informed care and enjoys collaborating with dentists, orthodontists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to help patients achieve lasting results.
Whether working with a child struggling with oral habits or an adult seeking relief from TMD symptoms, sleep-disordered breathing, or other myofunctional concerns, Kerilyn strives to help every patient breathe better, function better, and live healthier.
