Meet Laura

Laura Foster, MS, CCC-SLP, CMT® earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from West Virginia University in 2009. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a Certified Myofunctional Therapist (CMT®), a Myo Munchee Certified Practitioner, and has completed specialized training in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol.

Laura began her career providing speech-language services in skilled nursing facilities and home health before discovering her passion for pediatric therapy. Since 2015, she has worked primarily with children, helping them develop the communication skills they need to thrive.

In 2024, Laura's own struggle with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and teeth grinding introduced her to the world of orofacial myofunctional therapy. After experiencing the life-changing benefits firsthand, she became passionate about understanding the connection between oral function, breathing, sleep, facial development, and overall health. That passion led her to pursue extensive continuing education and earn her Certified Myofunctional Therapist (CMT®) credential in early 2026.

As both a clinician and a mother, Laura understands how easy it is to overlook the subtle signs of airway dysfunction. Looking back, she recognizes airway-related red flags in her own son that she wishes she had known to address earlier. That experience fuels her mission to educate families and provide early, evidence-informed intervention that can have lifelong benefits.

Laura believes that proper breathing, oral function, and quality sleep are foundational to health at every stage of life. She is passionate about helping infants, children, and adults identify and address the root causes of oral myofunctional disorders through individualized, compassionate care. She treats clients from 6 months of age through adulthood, empowering them to breathe better, sleep better, function better, and live healthier lives.
